Old Fashioned Gingerbread (ready to glaze)

Enjoy this classic holiday dessert at home, no matter where you're celebrating. Deep and dark this gingerbread is flavored with both fresh and ground ginger as well as a healthy pinch of pepper (yes pepper!) to add some zip. We glaze it generously with coffee glaze to add a little bittersweetness. It’s best lightly toasted with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top.
